OPEN 9 TO 6 DAILY

Updated Sept. 3, 2010 7:00 AM

Sorry, I didn't update the last 2 days, but I wasn't able to access the internet.  Our tower must have been hit by lightning in the storm on Tuesday evening, and it finally was back up and running last night.  Last night's storm gave us about 1/2 inch of rain.

We will be open all weekend here at the farm.  We will be open on Monday from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Thank you Manitowoc County for voting us 'Best Fruit/Vegetable Vendor' and 'Best Fresh Vegetables'  again this year!  We are thrilled to have won it for both 2009 & 2010

With some schools already in session and others starting this week, please be sure to watch out for children around school buses that are stopped to pick them up and in school zones.

SWEET CORN is here!!!  We should have a good supply of it for the season which should last into mid-September.

We have an excellent supply of pickling cucumbers.  If you want to make pickles, I would do it soon as the season may be coming to end sooner than you think.  We also have an excellent supply of slicing cucumbers!

We have a very good supply of canteloupe and the watermelon.  Our seedless watermelon is ready along with the yellow watermelon.  Why not give both of them a try?

There are canning tomatoes available.  You may want to call ahead for them so they can be ready for you.

Check the Availabe Produce page to see what is all available.

Remember, we will be at the Manitowoc Farmers' Market on Tuesday from 3:00 PM untl about 7:30 PM, and on Saturday morning from 7:00 AM until about 12:30 PM.

Today, Sept. 3, will be the last day that we will be in the parking lot at Aurora Hospital for this season.  We will be there from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

We would like to thank the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce for selecting our business as the 2009 Small Business of the Year at their annual banquet.  Also congratulations to all the other award winners!!
